What a Day!

Sunday was just too awesome! First, we were able to hear some great insight from the ladies conference that took place last week. The ladies who shared really gave us some insight into what a powerful conference it really was. (I am trying to get my wife to sit down and share some more on this blog about the conference) Then we watched the video that Jordan Mills and Pastor Chris prepared from Extreme Makeover. It was incredible to see the transformation in a 3 minute time period. My only complaint was somehow the shot of Ron falling through the floor with a sledgehammer, ended up on the cutting room floor. We also honored some of the people that went above and beyond to make makeover a success. And the icing on the cake was an incredible Bears victory over the Green Bay Packers! Sorry Chiefs fans.

The Ladies Conference was excellent to say the least. I wish all the ladies could have been there. Please start making arrangements for next year. I think it was a time of "growing up spiritually". And yes, things do happen when you have been on a spiritual high so to speak and then you get knocked down....but, how far down I get knocked is my choice. I'm choosing to believe I keep kicking Satan in the face everytime I get back up and take off again.

The Extreme Makeover was a blessing we'll never forget. My poison ivy has been a witness tool to which I am grateful. I knew there was a reason and today I realized that is one of the reasons. I would GLADLY do it all over again in a second.

Sunday was truly great. The video would have been funny seeing Rons episode however, It was kind of the editors to cut it out. Pam had an unforgetible time at the womens retreat and has almost caught up on her sleep. I wonder if the men should have a retreat?

The words can't explain how much fun the conference was. I want to thank Mindy and all for following Gods word and going through with it. You all did a wonderful job. There was alot of spiritual nourishment there and well needed.

The Extreme Makeover is something not only Wanda won't forget but us as a Church. Thanks to pastor for is faithfulness.
